This custom rod is built on a United Composites US70M blank. Each United Composites GUSA blank is made up of 100% Multi-Modulus Carbon Construction and utilizing the Dual Carbon Helix Core. Unlike nearly all of its competitors, these blanks are made of 100% Carbon Graphite. There is no fiberglass in the construction at all. It is rated for 12-20# line, 1-4 oz jigs (tog and fluke) or 1-3 oz lures and will pair perfectly with a 2500-4000 size spinning reel. It features Fuji Alconite single foot guides, burl corkgrips (12-1/4″ rear, 3-3/4″ front), and signature faded wraps. This is an excellent rod for jigging fluke, seabass, snapper or tautog, and throwing lures to albies, blackfin tuna, mahi, snook, small to medium tarpon, striped bass, bluefish, redfish, and jacks.
